Our Healing Approach

Our healing sanctuary offers confidential in-person, virtual, or talk sessions with a spiritual anchor. We integrate a harmonious balance of relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being through proven holistic techniques.

Our approach to healing lies in an understanding deeply rooted in the body’s intrinsic ability to heal itself. Guided by this knowledge, we honor the autonomic nervous system (ANS), a vital part of your body’s regulation system, managing functions like heart rate, digestion, and breathing without you having to think about them.

It has two main branches:

Sympathetic Nervous System (SNS): Activates your body’s “fight or flight” response in

stressful situations.

Parasympathetic Nervous System (PNS): Encourages “rest and digest” activities, helping your body to relax and recover.

The Power of the Relaxation Response:

When we experience stress, our bodies often stay in a heightened state of alertness due to the SNS. To counter this, we activate the PNS through techniques that induce the relaxation response—a state where your body enters deep rest. This helps to lower cortisol levels, the hormone responsible for stress, promoting calmness and balance.
